Teenagers: Advanced Music Development
Our teenager music classes are ideal for young musicians who have already begun their musical journey and are eager to take their skills to the next level. Designed to help students achieve an advanced level of playing, these classes focus on deepening musical knowledge and refining technique. Each student receives a personalized weekly practice plan and curated repertoire suggestions. Lessons emphasize:
- Posture and instrument balance
- Advanced musical techniques specific to each instrument (e.g., breathing, articulation, tone production)
- Developing a beautiful and expressive tone (e.g., embouchure, intonation, dynamics, vibrato)
- Selecting and mastering repertoire, including classical, chamber music, and orchestral pieces
- Interpretation and expression in performance
- Exploring extended techniques (e.g., multiphonics, quarter tones, percussive sounds)
- Introduction to jazz improvisation (by request)
- Music theory, harmony, and aural training

ABRSM Exam Preparation: Achieve Exam Success
Our ABRSM exam preparation classes cover all grades from 1 to 8, thoroughly following the ABRSM instrumental and music theory syllabus. These classes are designed to help students understand the fundamental principles of music while preparing them to excel in their exams. Each grade focuses on specific requirements, including:
